Take your Para Taxi Tandem Paragliding experience one step further for the biggest adrenaline rush on earth.

A sky diving instructor will prepare you for a truly unforgettable experience and help you get kitted up for your flight, so no experience is needed! Video footage is an optional extra, but will definitely capture the experience and allow you to relive the action and emotion of your jump.

On the way up in the aircraft, the view is breath taking. To the South, the Mother City lies sandwiched between towering Table Mountain and bustling Table Bay harbour. Further to the south, and to the far side of the mountain, lies False Bay, Hout Bay and the splendour of the South Peninsula as far as Cape Point. To the West, you will spot Robben Island - Cape Town's own Alcatraz - and the Atlantic breaking on the beautiful Cape West Coast, as famous for its icy water temperature as its mouth-watering crayfish. To the North, the Langebaan lagoon, a great kite surfing and windsurfing venue.

Paired with an experienced pilot, you will launch from a plane at 10 000 feet and subject yourself to a 25-30 second free-fall at 200 km per hour. Your chute is released and you then get a 4 - 5 minute parachute drop with the most impressive aerial views of Cape Town, Table Mountain and Robben Island.

Equipment and your instructor are all included and transport can be arranged for an affordable fee. All you need to bring with you are the essentials to protect yourself against the harsh South African elements and be sure to wear comfortable clothing and closed shoes.

An option, which is not always available, is to have your Tandem jump filmed.

This can be done by an outside cameraman (another skydiver, who wears a camera on his head and jumps alongside the Tandem pair), or by the Tandem Master himself who wears a Camera on his hand. The resultant footage is downloaded onto a DVD for you to take home.
